• Living in a relative’s house
• Living in a room in a nursing home reserved by the diocese
• Living in a converted room in a rectory or diocesan high school
• Purchase of a house where he would live alone
These are all good options yet none of them are likely to provide for all of the stages of medical care that might be required, and also provide for the spiritual needs of priestly fraternity combined with compassionate care.
With the spiritual, social and physical needs of a priest in mind, St. Peter's House is dedicated to providing:
• Priestly Fraternity A small private home shared with other priests.
• Peace A private suite within the home.
• Care Aging in place — Increased and adjusted services to compensate for any physical or mental decline that may occur with the aging process.
